AXS and Marrakesh

AXS and Marrakesh

Thanks to our friends at Argan Extreme Sports, two-wheeled touring was easy and educational. Saif, Farouq, Mohamed, Mohamed and Hamoud took us through Marrakesh proper, and up into the Atlas Mountains for a variety biking, off-road and on.

Here are a few shots from our ride(s), and a peek into our day-to-day in Morocco’s "Red City”.

An unbelievable dinner of couscous enjoyed with our friends and gracious hosts. We wrapped the night up with a tray of colorful sweets and a Bollywood binge.

Jemaa el-Fnaa at sunset. Vibrant at any hour, this is the main square in Marrakesh, and borders the entrance to the maze-like souk.
